About Myself (JC)
I am a hybrid Technology Delivery Leader and Solution Architect with over 20 years of experience turning complex technology programmes into solutions that work in the real world.
Throughout my career, I have worked across Europe, the United States, India and Asia-Pacific, leading large-scale transformation programmes across technology, applications, cloud, data and enterprise platforms. The common thread has always been connecting good architecture with strong delivery. For me, a solution is only successful when it is not just well designed, but properly implemented, adopted by the organisation and reliable in day-to-day operation.
A significant part of my career has been focused on financial services, particularly banking and insurance, where I have led complex technology transformation across business-critical and highly regulated environments. I have worked across banking, insurance, payments and financial platforms, alongside enterprise SaaS and HR technology. This has included large-scale application modernisation, cloud transformation, data and integration programmes, enterprise platforms and regulatory-driven change, where reliability, security, governance and controlled delivery are critical..
I have also spent many years leading cloud and application modernisation, helping organisations move and redesign business-critical platforms across Azure and AWS. This has included modern application architectures, APIs, microservices, container platforms, event-driven solutions, data platforms, DevOps and automation, with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, security and operational sustainability.
More recently, AI and intelligent automation have become an increasingly important part of how I approach technology delivery. I am particularly interested in where AI can remove unnecessary effort, improve engineering and delivery productivity, strengthen operational insight, and ultimately create measurable business value. I have also been exploring how AI can be embedded into delivery practices rather than treated simply as another technology initiative.
I have led large, distributed technology and engineering teams across different countries, cultures and time zones. I enjoy building high-performing teams, creating clarity around priorities, and putting delivery structures and governance in place that help people focus on outcomes rather than process.
Technically, I stay close enough to the detail to understand how solutions are actually built and operated from architecture, APIs and integrations through to cloud platforms, CI/CD, automation, data and AI. At the same time, my focus remains on the bigger picture: business outcomes, delivery predictability, governance, risk and long-term value.
What I enjoy most is taking complex, sometimes messy problems and turning them into simpler, practical and sustainable technology solutions. That is where I believe the combination of architecture, delivery leadership and real-world implementation experience creates the most value.
